Catch Me If You Can

Catch Me If You Can began rehearsals for it's Broadway run at the Neil Simon Theatre in early 2011 and opened on April 10th.  I played Agent Johnny Dollar and understudied the role of Frank Jr. played by Aaron Tveit.

I was involved with every single reading and workshop of this play including having Matthew Morrison and Christian Borle play Frank Jr. at different times.  There was also a tryout at the Fifth Avenue Theatre in Seattle in 2009. The production received four Tony Awards nominations, including one for Best Musical, winning Best Actor in a Musical for Norbert Leo Butz.

Catch Me If You Can is a musical with a libretto by Terrence McNally and a theatrical score by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman. It follows the story of a con artist named Frank Abagnale Jr. A majority of the plot is borrowed from the 2002 film of the same name, which in turn was based on Abagnale's 1980 autobiography.
